Don’t You Just Love

Gardens?

Of Course You Do.

That's why you're here. I write and talk a lot about vegetable gardens, but to me, all gardens should excite all five senses… no separation between ornamental and edible. All gardens should be heady with fragrance and too tempting not to touch. Whether it's a warm, ripe tomato or the first spring peony, it's all magic. A garden is somewhere you walk into and become a part of, not something you stand back and view. That's what I write about. If you feel the same, stop by and visit often and let me know your thoughts.

What people are saying about... The Timber Press Guide to Vegetable Gardening in the Northeast, by Marie Iannotti

--The Woodstock Times

The writing here is as crisp as the layout, which uses colored page edges and a simple, slightly-New Englandy sense of style to get its point across. Best of all, it's hard to think of anything not covered here... and yet there's no sense of the text book in these pages, and only that homey feel one gets while actually gardening.
